Exploring My Bookshelves: I HAD to get this one

Exploring My Bookshelves is a weekly meme created by Addlepates and Book Nerds.

First, you post a picture of your bookshelf (preferably literal but e-shelves work too):

Tadaa…an updated photo of my newly reorganized, TIDY bookshelf. I’m proud. 😀 I had to do some unhauling to get it to look this decent.

Second, you get something about your shelf to write about (favorite cover, favorite author, book you most recently bought, etc.):

For May 29th: a book you bought just to complete the set

Third, give the blurb and the cover of the book, and what you thought of it if you’ve read it:

I don’t think I’d have done this if I hadn’t discovered the wonderful Book Outlet. I love that website. I’m totally hooked on it. The book I’ve bought to complete a set is Seraphina by Rachel Hartman. I have an e-book copy of it but since I have a physical copy of Shadow Scale, I wanted to get a physical copy of Seraphina to go along with it. I discovered a Scratch & Dent copy, which was near pristine with hardly a scratch or dent, on Book Outlet for $4.49. $4.49!! I couldn’t pass it by. I HAD to get it.

Fourth, link your post.

  2. Hi Zezee, thanks so much for visiting my blog! I really appreciate the kind words. I love your bookshelf, especially the top shelf with all the Rick Riordan books! 😉 I also saw The Circle by Dave Eggers hanging out on a shelf. My univ assigns a book to each class their freshman year and my year got that title. To be honest, I still haven’t read it. Have you? And, oh my, bookoutlet will be the demise of my wallet. I recently discovered it too! This year, in fact.
