Exploring My Bookshelves: Books in Foreign Languages

“Exploring My Bookshelves” is a weekly meme created by Victoria at Addlepates and Book Nerds. Since Victoria is on vacation, I’m following along with Shannon at For the Love of Words since she has created her own topics.

This week’s topic:

A book in a foreign language

Hmm…well, I can’t answer this one. I can only recall one book I’ve had that was in a foreign language and that was a Card Captor Sakura manga I had as a kid. I don’t remember how I got it, where it is, or what it’s about but I do remember that I enjoyed staring at the illustrations.

Are there any books on your shelves that are in a foreign language?

How this meme works:
  1. Take a “shelfie” (a picture of your bookshelf). Preferably literal, but e-shelves work too.
  2. Write something on the day’s prompt.
  3. Give the blurb and the cover of the book (and what you thought of it if you’ve read it).
  4. Link back to Victoria’s post.

  1. nice bookshelves…I have 6 of them pack with different kind of books. I have English and Spanish and all kind of genre. My husband always tells me if I’m making a library room. “Good idea”; I just told him.

    1. Lol that’s a great idea! I wish I could make a library room too. I’d like to get some Spanish books. I can’t speak it well but I do better reading it.
