It’s the Harry Potter Book Tag!! Guess who’s happy? 😀
So there I was reading through blog posts one day when I found this tag on Summer’s blog. Her answers were hilarious and I delighted in reading them. I began to think to myself “Gosh, this would be a great tag to do” when I got to the end and realized that Summer tagged me to do it. Ahh!! This crazy Harry Potter fan was overjoyed (and silly for not checking her notifications feed). Thanks for the tag, Summer! Let’s get to it.
Favorite book?
Uhh, hmm…umm…I think it’s a tie…
It’s a tie. The first book is a favorite because that’s when I was introduced to this wonderful story and to Hoggy Warty Hogwarts; but the fourth book is also a favorite because that’s when the wizarding world becomes larger and we realize just how amazing Rowling’s creation is and how extensive it can be.
Favorite movie?
I don’t have one. I didn’t like any of them.
Least favorite book?
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. The book made me angry. I was mad at both Harry Potter and Rowling when I read it. Harry because he was full of angst and made a bunch of stupid decisions. Ugh! And Rowling because she killed Sirius. WHY??!! I mean, I know why. It works. It helps Harry’s character development and all that jazz but gosh, I just wanted Harry to have someone. And why did Sirius have to be cooped up in the house all the time when there’re such things as Polyjuice Potion? That book was just frustrating.
Parts of the books/movies that make you cry?
Never cried but I think I teared up a little when Mrs. Weasley said Harry is like a son to her (forgot what book that appears in; probably Order of the Phoenix), when we (readers) realize that Snape is a good dude, and when Dudley tries to say bye or thanks, can’t recall which, in book 7.
Favorite character?
Luna Lovegood. I think we would get along well. Second favorite is Dumbledore.
What would your Patronus be?
A panda! I love pandas. They’re so clumbsy. To get rid of dementors, my panda patronus would trip and fall on them.
Note on image: I totally didn’t expect to find this but luckily I’m not the only person who’d like a panda patronus. The art is by OpalsOfSerenity on Deviantart.com.
If you could have the Resurrection Stone, the Invisibility Cloak, or the Elder Wand, which one would you choose?

Invisibility Cloak. The other stuff attract too much problems.
What House would you be in?
Ravenclaw. I like that you have to answer a riddle to enter.
If you could meet any member of the cast, who would it be?
Since I’m not a fan of the movies, I don’t have an answer for this one.
If you were on the quidditch team, what position would you play?

Seeker. I’m not aggressive enough to be a Beater. And I’m more likely to dodge a ball than chase it so no Chaser. My fingers are slippery so Keeper wouldn’t work either. But I’m good at spotting things so Seeker it is.
Were you happy with the ending?
No. Part of me thinks Harry should have died to complete that whole sacrifice theme running through the book but I’ll have to reread Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows to see if I still think this. Of all the books, the last is the only one I haven’t reread or have reread only once.
I also don’t like how neat the ending is. Usually I’d like that. From how I reacted to everything in Harry’s life, I should like the ending but I didn’t. It’s as if “And they lived happily ever after” should have been added to it too. I didn’t like it.
How much does Harry Potter mean to you?
A lot.
I tag…
…all Harry Potter fans who read this post! 😀 Let me know if you do it.
Omg, LOL! I loved your answers, especially the panda patronus. Pandas are so adorable! You may have already seen this video, but it always makes my day when I watch it. XD Ahh, I know. The moment with Sirus in Order of Phoenix… T.T And I never really thought about it… but yeah, Polyjuice Potion would have granted Sirius and Harry more time together… I guess, the only question would be who should Sirius clone? Like there can’t be two exact humans walking around and the potion’s magic would probably fade fast so you need a lot of someone’s hair or something. Anyway, thanks for participating, Zezee!

I did see that video! I love it. They are so cute, the little ones and that one is so funny trying to escape. Oh yea, there would be a lot of explaining to do. Hmm… maybe they could go a couple towns over to a barbershop and get some hairs there.
