Weekend Reads #22: Blog Web Address to Change

Weekend Reads is a weekly discussion on a variety of topics. At the end of the post, I’ll include what I plan to read on the weekend.

The question/topic for this weekend:

I’ve decided to change my blog’s web address.

I know I haven’t done a good Weekend Reads topic in a while but the lack of a personal computer has upended my life. I didn’t realize how much I relied on my laptop until now. Next weekend, I’ll try to do a Weekend Reads topic that’s on books.

This weekend’s topic is another blog update. If you recall, a few weekends ago I shared that I was considering to change my blog’s web address so that it fits what my blog is about. Currently, the web address is zezeewithbooks.wordpress.com. This address says nothing of what my blog is about and doesn’t match the name of my blog — Zezee with Books.

I’ve thought on this for some time and have decided to go ahead and change the web address now rather than later. My only worry is that it might be hard for people to find my blog since all links to zezeewithbooks.wordpress.com will be lost. I’m not paying for the site redirect service. The web address will be zezeewithbooks.wordpress.com, or something of the sort. I will do the change on October 25. I’ll post a few reminders throughout the week and another update before the change.

Fingers crossed that this switch goes smoothly.

What I’m reading this weekend:

A Clash of Kings

I’m finishing up A Clash of Kings. The end is so close and I’m impatient to get there. I’m in dire need of a break from rereading books. I want to read something or someone new.

What are you reading this weekend? Please share below.
And remember, my web address will change on October 25.

Happy reading! 🙂

  1. Good luck with your change over, have duly marked the 25th which is also labour weekend here and the greymouth street races, YAY!

I like zz oneone two, but look forward to what you choose.

This weekend I’ve been reading Towards Asmara by Thomas keneally, and so far it’s very good.

      1. Yeah i love the crowds as much as the bikes and racing. It’s probably the biggest event that happens here in the western wilderness, or maybe that’s the wild food festival?
More thrilling than a grilling of huhu grubs anyhow 😉

I never heard of the author either, i just picked it up while book hunting a couple of weeks back, and is normally the case, another gem to add to the “gathering of books ” let’s just call it. It’s about the eritrean – Ethiopian war, and is a travel adventure, a fictitious journey so real and well crafted.
