Dragon’s Loyalty Award

Dragon's Loyalty Award

I was nominated for this cool award by Sara Letourneau back in September and most recently by Syc at The Lit Mermaid. Thank you both! I really appreciate it. 😀

Here are the rules:
  1. Announce your win with a post, and link to whomever presented your award.
  2. Post 7 interesting things about yourself.
  3. Present 15 awards to deserving bloggers. [The awards vary here. Syc’s post says 6.]
  4. Drop them a comment to tip them off after you’ve linked them in the post.
  5. Display the award certificate on your website.
Well, 7 more interesting facts about myself. Let’s see what I come up with.
  1. The number one makes me think of Scooby-doo for some reason. I’m not a fan of that cartoon.
  2. My first fact makes me think of The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, which I love. It’s one of my favorite cartoons. I wish I could still watch it.
  3. Writing about fact two makes me wonder how I should format the names of movies and TV shows on my blog. I don’t italicize them. I only italicize the titles of books. Maybe I should place quotes around them. I like things to be uniform on here.
  4. Ok, so that last fact has the word italicize in it and it made me wonder why that word isn’t spelt i-t-a-l-i-s-i-z-e. Fact 4: I think the English language is weird.
  5. I don’t know what to put here so I started looking around my room and wondering why I have so many books, which is a dumb question to ask myself.
  6. I have sparkly gold bed slippers on to keep my toes warm. Don’t you just hate cold fingers and toes? That’s one of the major reasons why I hate winter and cold climes.
  7. Climes makes me think of climbs and I’d like to go rock climbing but inside.
I nominate these bloggers:
  1. Mrsmamfa
  2. The Book Stop
  3. For the Love of Words
  4. The Book Venom
  5. Genkina Hito
  6. Paein and Ms4Tune

No pressure to participate if you don’t want to. I just enjoy visiting all your blogs.

  1. Thanks for including me! That’s a random list of facts.. I agree the English language is definitely weird. I’m with you on the cold weather, my fingers and toes get really cold. Although I’m more of a sweater-socks kind of girl than sparkly slippers (and yet The Wizard of Oz is my favorite children’s book). There you go, more random thoughts!

  2. Ooooh, I love your bed slippers! They sound like they’re so pretty. Then again, sparkly gold tends to make anything pretty. 🙂

I also can’t stand being cold at night, either. It turns me into a flannel-blanket-covered, fleece-pajama-wearing person who wishes she could hibernate until spring. Of course, the hibernating bit can’t exactly happen… *lol*

I haven’t gone indoor rock-climbing in a couple years. I went with a friend and really enjoyed it, but I can’t remember why we haven’t gone back… It’s a great overall exercise, though.

    1. They are wonderfully cozy. I don’t know what the material is on the inside but it’s similar to those thick, fluffy, colorful socks people wear in winter. I got them at Hallmark, of all places.
Same here when it gets cold. I wrap up in bed, usually, and refuse to go anywhere.
So I’ve heard of rock climbing. I think I’ll love it. It’s weird that I like such activities but I don’t like to exercise regularly.
