St. Patrick’s Day Book Tag

I’m fashionably late to the St. Patrick’s Day party ;). This tag was created by Emily of Embuhlee liest and Shivii of Brown Eyed Musings. Well then, let’s get the party started!

St. Paddy cheers

End of the rainbow: What book did you have a hard time tracking down a copy of?

John Crow's Devil 3

This copy of John Crow’s Devil by Marlon James. I didn’t like the covers of the other editions.

Pot of gold: When you found that book, was it worth the quest?

Yes, it was! I was overjoyed and kept hopping around the kitchen and showing it to my family.

Celebrating a rich heritage: Name a book that contains a well-developed culture.

The Age of Innocence

The Age of Innocence by Edith Wharton. The story is based in New York City’s high society during the early 1900s.

Shamrock Shakes: what’s your favorite food to snack on while reading?

Panera-Pumpkin-Spice-Latte

Hmm… I don’t think I like to eat while reading, now that I think about it. It’s a bit cumbersome because I don’t like to soil the pages. I prefer to drink something, like tea or a pumpkin spice latte. Yum! 🙂

Four Leaf Clover: Name a book you thought would be ‘just another generic book’, but turned out to be something great.

Salem's Lot

Maybe not great but ‘Salem’s Lot by Stephen King was surprisingly good. Before that, the only novel I’d read by him was Carrie, which I didn’t like much, so I was blown away by ‘Salem’s Lot.

Irish Whiskey: what’s your favorite tradition of St. Patty’s Day?

I actually don’t celebrate it so I don’t have one; but I hope everyone who does had fun! 😀

Since St. Patrick’s Day is gone, I won’t tag anyone. But if you like this tag, go ahead and save it to do next year or whenever you like.
