2016 Reading Wrap-Up: Second Quarter

It’s the end of the second quarter of the year and my reading is way better than I expected. I even bumped my Goodreads reading goal back up to 60. That is, I must read 60 things this year (books, magazines, comics, etc.). This quarter was even better than the first. I didn’t realize I read this much until I did this wrapup.

When Breath Becomes Air1

When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi. I don’t know what it is with me and this book but first I procrastinated on reading it and now I’m reluctant to read it when reading it (if that makes sense). I think it’s because I anticipate becoming very emotional while reading it. I’m a wuss so I tend to run away from books I know might make me cry.

  1. That’s awesome that you’re reading way more than you expected to! 🙂 That happened to me last year and I ended up changing my Goodreads goal a few times! I’ll probably have to end up changing it this year as well. I really need to check out The Raven Boys. I love the way you set up your post!

    1. Thanks! And yea, Raven Boys is a nice series to get into. It’s different for everyone, but for me it starts strong and then drops a bit as it goes. I didn’t like the second book much.
