The Bout of Books readathon is back! I decided to participate again this year since I enjoyed doing so last year. I’m not a fan of week-long readathons, but I like this one because it’s more relaxed. Here’s more information on what it’s about:
The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01 a.m. Monday, August 22nd, and runs through Sunday, August 28th, in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 17 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. — From the Bout of Books team
I doubt I’ll participate in the challenges and all that because I’ll either forget to or I just won’t have the time. As for what I’ll read, I’ll try to limit myself to the books I borrowed from the library.
Goal
Read library books, or at least start them.
Read everyday.
Try reading at home and before bed.

Is there a blog or something I need to follow to participate?

I think you have to sign up on the website http://boutofbooks.blogspot.com/
but I think that’s if you want to be considered for giveaways. I think I forgot to sign up last year but I participated anyways.
