Anything but Books Tag

It’s about to be a book tag-filled week.

I’m pretty busy and am not in the mood to do any of the reviews I have planned, so I’ll do something fun instead, which means inundating my blog with tags everyday this week.

Positive perks: I’ll get caught up on things I’m tagged for.

Negative perks: I’ll annoy someone with all these tags because I might repeat books in a few. Oh well.

I’ll kick off tag week with the Anything But Books Tag, which was created by booktuber ReadorRot. I was tagged by the awesome Emily at Embuhlee liest, my buddy-reader in all things Robin Hobb.

Name a cartoon(s) that you love.

Jimmy Neutron!! I watch a good amount of cartoons, so I had a lot to choose from. I tend to prefer silly ones like Spongebob Squarepants, Jimmy Neutron, Tom & Jerry, etc.

Jimmy Neutron is one of my absolute favorite cartoons. I love the characters and all the shenanigans Jimmy and the gang get up to. My favorite character is Sheen, of course.

What is your favorite song right now?

I love this song in its original version and all the remixes too, but the one with Chris Brown, featured above, is my absolute favorite. Every time I hear it, I start dancing.

What could you do for hours (that isn’t reading)?

Draw, if I’m in a good mood and feel like it. Organize things, whether that’s objects, such as books, in neat rows or a spreadsheet. I just like organizing things though my room is always in disarray. Every now and then I get frustrated and make it neat only to mess it all up again.

What is something you love to do that your followers would be surprised by?

Umm…I don’t know. I love to dance and go clubbing and dance the night away, though it’s been a while since I’ve done that. I don’t think that’s surprising, though. I’ve mentioned it a few times on here.

What is your favorite unnecessarily specific thing to learn about (this can do with books, I guess)?

Psychosis and drug addiction. I don’t know why, but I often research and read up on both and have always had an avid interest in them even as a kid in middle-school years. I’m always interested in knowing more about both and almost switched to a psychology major in college because of that.

What is something unusual you know how to do?

Umm…I don’t know. Hunting and killing pesky bugs… I don’t have an answer for this one.

Name something you’ve made in the last year (and show us, if you can).

I haven’t made anything, actually, except work on this blog. I haven’t drawn anything or physically colored anything because I’ve been playing a coloring game on my iPad, which is appealing because I can easily change a color that I no longer want to use. I do need to get back to drawing. I don’t want to lose that skill.

What is your most recent personal project?

Other than organizing my closet, I have two: improve my copy editing skills (ugh!) and complete one of the many stories I’ve started (double ugh!).

Tell us something you think about often (maybe while staring out of windows).

Recently, that’s…

zombie apocalypse

Totally in preparation for the fourth season of The Strain, of course!

Though it never hurts to be prepared, just in case.

Give us something that’s your favorite, but make it something oddly specific, not like your favorite food, but like your favorite food when you’ve been studying for hours and forgot to eat. Or, you know, something like that.
Ihop! 😀 😛

The International House of Pancakes is my favorite spot to go whenever I feel like celebrating something by myself, like a birthday breakfast by myself, or giving myself a pat on my own back for achieving a goal. I love me some pancakes!

I won’t tag anyone because I’ve seen this tag going around, but if you feel like giving it a go, do it!!

  1. Before I went back to school for computers, I actually got a degree in psychology because of a similar interest, haha. I have a lot of books on psychological conditions, should you ever want a recommendation! xD

  2. I totally identify with your penchant for ‘organising things’ – I could spend a whole week just organising and reorganising stuff in my house (but I rarely allow myself to organise anything as it’s my ultimate form of procrastination!).

    1. IKR! Gotta keep those survival skills up, though I don’t have much. (**working on it**)

Keep at the drawing and eventually it’ll get better….I need to follow my own advice too.

  3. Great tag… enjoyed your answers, too… mine is in the final draft in the drafts XD hehehe.. I wrote the answers in a pretty down mood so I’ll probably have to go back and change a few answers here and there 😀

  4. Ha. I used to eat at IHOP all the time after working shifts that ended after midnight. I was such a regular the staff all knew me. I don’t think I have been to one in five or ten years though.

    1. Gosh I love the place. Sometimes I only go there once a year, which makes me love it even more because of missing it.
My mind was on it today so I visited and got some French toast.
