Hogwarts Tag

Since yesterday’s tag eased my headache, I decided to do another Harry Potter-themed tag. I found this Hogwarts Tag over on Read All the Things. I do not know who the creator of it is.

Am I a pureblood, half-blood, or muggle born?

Considering how superstitious my family is and tendency to foretell events from their dreams (I’m not making this up, though I’m not sure if what my family members foretell always occur), I’d say I’m half-blood, but we’re super secretive about having magic because we mix so much with muggles.

Which wand chose me?

Silver lime wood: “had a reputation for performing best for Seers and those skilled in Legilimency, mysterious arts both.” I’ll hold to that and ignore wandmaker Arturo Cephalopos’ claims that the connection between silver lime and clairvoyance is false.

I took a pygmy puff! 🙂 That’s if I was able to sneak it past Filch.

Where did the Sorting Hat put me?

Of the many reasons why I love this house, one is because the “Ravenclaw’s common room boasts the most stunning views of the castle grounds.” Thus you’ll always find me by a large window.

What house did I want to be in?

I got the house that suits me.

What lessons are my favorite and least favorite?

A wild boar.

I was hoping to get a panda, but I haven’t seen any panda patronuses. I guess pandas are too clumsy to be an effective patronus. But just look at how cute it would be:

Do I partake in any magical hobbies or school sports?

Like Hermione, I don’t care much for Quidditch, but I’ll cheer if I’m at a game. I’ll be in an art or writing club or one that deciphers runes. Does Hogwarts have a yearbook? If so, I’m on it. If not, then I work for the school newspaper. I also help to throw awesome inter-house parties in the Room of Requirement. Note the word “help.” I’ll come up with the great idea and be too much of a wuss to follow through so I’ll have to get a Gryffindor to help.

(…okay, I feel like rereading the first book now) 😦

Where would I find myself hanging in my free time?

Drawing or reading by a large window in the Ravenclaw common room. Chasing Peeves. (I wonder if the students sometimes play pranks on Peeves. I so would!) Peppering the ghosts or professors with loads of questions for the yearbook/school paper. Exploring Hogwarts or trying to sneak out of it to buy something in Hogsmeade.

What would I most likely get detention for?

Being late for class. I’ll almost always be late.

Reading novels in class or daydreaming. I’ll almost always be distracted.

Sneaking out of school. I’ll almost always sneak out.

Turning homework in late. It’ll almost always be late if I bother to turn it in.

What career do I want after leaving Hogwarts?

Unspeakable.

That’s it! I’m gonna go reread the first book.
