2018 Reading Wrap-Up: Second Quarter

The second quarter of the year has come and gone and during that time I read 16 books, only 2 of which were rereads. I consider that a success since I was quite busy during the second quarter.

  1. Are you going to continue with the Wheel of Time books? I’m up to number 10, and I absolutely love the series even though it can go quite sloooow. I think I remember finding book 5 to be a bit of a bore. But apparently 11 is really good, so I am really looking forward to it. It looks like you had a really good reading month!!! I hope you have an awesome July!

    1. Yup! I plan to continue with them. I took a break from them for a while because the writing and characters were annoying me, but I’m too curious to see how things turn out to stop reading.
Hope you have a great July too! Thanks!

      1. Oh yay! Yeah I understand that. I used to really hate Nynaeve but I really like her now. I also didn’t like how every female character would ‘sniff’ to show her disdain…like, ever female character was the same. It definitely is worth sticking with 🙂

        1. Same here!! Ugh! Nynaeve annoys me so much. I don’t like her. I don’t like characters who get angry for no good reason all the time. And ugh! I hate how the male-female relationships. They are forever criticizing each other. There’s much that annoys me. I’m continuing purely out of curiosity.

    1. Yea, I think the Wedding Date is a bit overhyped. The story is okay, it’s just not as great as everyone’s saying it is.
Lol! I felt the same about Hazel Wood, but I made myself read a library copy. I thought it was okay so I won’t bother to buy it, but this is one that def depends on how you like your fantasy books. It’s a decent story.
