Top 5 Tuesday #41: P – Q – R – S – T

Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly meme created and hosted by Shanah, the Bionic Book Worm, and now managed by Meeghan at Meeghan Reads.

This week’s topic:

P – Q – R – S – T

(characters whose name begins with the featured letters)
I SUCK at remembering character names, so this will be tough.

P IS FOR…

Phédre

The protagonist in this fantasy novel I’m now reading which I don’t know how to briefly describe other than to say it has very adult content, lots of political intrigue, and people who are apparently descended from fallen angels.

Q IS FOR…

Quentin Coldwater

The protagonist in The Magicians TV series, which I really enjoyed watching but have yet to see the most recent season or to read the books it’s based on, which were written by Lev Grossman.

R IS FOR…

Rasputin

That’s Rasputin from the comic book series of the same name about the mad monk from Serbia. The story is inspired by tales told about the actual historical figure. The comic book is written by Alex Grecian and illustrated by Riley Rossmo. I thought it was okay and would like to read the second volume.

S IS FOR…

Samwell Tarly

I forgot which book Sam pops up in… it was probably Game of Thrones… maybe. Anyway, I liked the dude and his interactions with Jon. I need to finish the series (or rather, catch up on it), but I’m kinda waiting on GRRM to do his part first.

T IS FOR…

Tallanvor

I have no idea why this character popped up in my mind first because I don’t like him and, based on where I am in the series, I haven’t read much about him other than to know he’s deeply loyal to Queen Morgase, helped her escape Gaebril’s influence, and maybe there’s some attraction between him and Morgase. I don’t remember in which book he pops up, so I’m showing a random book in Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time series.

THAT’S IT.
LET ME KNOW IF YOU’RE FAMILIAR WITH ANY OF THESE CHARACTERS.

I’m actually getting better at this. This week’s characters were much easier to think of.

    1. I think he was in the first when Rand fell into the palace garden by accident. I think he was the one who escorted Rand out of the palace…not sure though. It’s in book 4 or 5 I think that we really notice him.
