Happy Halloween!! π
Hope you have a wonderful time celebrating it while taking corona precautions.
Well, my book tag week has led up to this great holiday β HALLOWEEN!!! πππ β so here I am with the last tag, for now….
I found the All About Halloween Book Tag over on Madame Writer, who credits CatFairy Books as the creator. But it seems that CatFairy Books has taken down their blog. Aww…
Well, to the tag!
What are your favorite Halloween movies?
I have so many!

Hocus Pocus
Final Destination
Beetlejuice
Halloweentown
Jeepers Creepers
Scary Movie
Except forΒ Final Destination, Hocus Pocus, and probablyΒ Jeepers Creepers, I haven’t watched these in a while.
What is your favorite Halloween book?
The Shining by Stephen King
I don’t have a favorite Halloween book, butΒ The Shining is one of my favorite horror novels. It’s about a very precocious boy staying at a haunted hotel with his mom and dad through the winter and seeing and experiencing some weird stuff there.
It’s about a lot more than that, of course, so I highly recommend it. It was a very entertaining read.
What other Halloween books would you recommend?
Song of Kali by Dan Simmons
Set in Calcutta, India, it’s about an American journalist who’s sent to the city by a magazine to interview a poet there but gets caught up in some mysterious and horrific events involving a cult dedicated to the goddess Kali. The story has a slow build but it steadily pulls you along and keeps you hooked. It was a good read.
Do you own any Halloween ugly sweaters?
I don’t, but I’d like to get this one β the “However It Ghosts Fair Isle Pullover” from ModCloth. I’ve been wanting to get it for some time now, but it’s $69. I’m having a hard time convincing myself to buy a sweater for $69 although it looks so cute.
What are some of your favorite Halloween costumes?
I like seeing people dress up for Halloween, but I hardly ever really pay attention to have a favorite costume. I more admire house decorations.
What are you doing for Halloween this year?
The same thing I do ever year…
Watch some scary, creepy movies and TV shows.
What is your favorite childhood Halloween memory?
I don’t have any. Halloween isn’t celebrated in my country, so I didn’t pay attention to it until I got to the U.S. and then I’d only watch scary movies.
A fun college memory, though, was seeing some of my friends dress up as Power Rangers and then run around a bit acting like them. That was fun.
AND THATβS IT FOR THIS BOOK TAG WEEK SERIES.
Until Next Time… Happy HALLOWEEN!!
(If youβre looking for book tags to do, hereβs a long listΒ of ones Iβve done so far.)
Hahahah I can imagine those Power Rangers running down corridors doing silly things. Ahhh, the good days when you could just watch others do silly things during Halloween! Now we get more than enough of it through social media…

A good convincing argument for buying a $69 sweater could go like this :
If I wear sweater 100 times that’s like under 70Β’ pr wear, and eventually if you wear this great sweater enough!
Then you’ll be earning $$$
Just by wearing a sweater!!
Is not the universe wonderful

Well then, I wish I’d thought of that because I’d love to have the sweater.

I really enjoyed Hyperion and The Fall of Hyperion by Simmons, I would like to read Song of Kali when I’ll be done with the Hyperion Cantos, it sounds very interesting (and scary!).
Happy Halloween. π

I really want to read those Hyperion books too. I believe Song of Kali was probably his first book.
