Top 5 Tuesday #86: The 5 Ws

Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly meme created by Shanah, the Bionic Book Worm, and now hosted by Meeghan at Meeghan Reads.

This week’s topic:

Top 5 books with the 5 Ws in the title

(who, what, when, where, why)

I really like this week’s topic and have managed to pull together 5 books that I own for the topic. But I’ve only read two of them.

Who

The Man Who Came Down The Attic Stairs by Celine Loup (illus.)

What

What Makes This Book So Great: Re-Reading the Classics of Science Fiction and Fantasy by Jo Walton

Where

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by J.K. Rowling — This is one of the two I read, and I read it years ago and have now forgotten some of the details. I should give it a reread when I’m in the mood for Harry Potter books.

When

When the Tiger Came Down the Mountain by Nghi Vo

Why

Why Is the Penis Shaped Like That?: And Other Reflections on Being Human by Jesse Bering — This is the other one I read. It’s nonfiction about the title question as well as some other somewhat-taboo topics.

LET ME KNOW IF YOU’VE READ ANY OF THESE.

    1. It’s a really great read. I think the author has written for Psychology Today or Scientific American (can’t remember which), if you’re interested in the book but would like to sample his writing first.

    1. IKR. It’s what got me to read the book. I was so curious.

Btw, I gave in and requested stuff on NetGalley 🙃 I didn’t get on bad like you, though. I kept it tame at just 4 things.

        1. Yea, I requested that new Carey book, but I’ll be very surprised if they grant me access to it. But I got the new Gareth Hanrahan book, which I’m excited about. I’ll most likely start it this week.
