Hey! Guess what?! It’s time for my Wyrd & Wonder GIVEAWAY!! 😀

What’s Wyrd & Wonder? It’s a monthlong celebration in May of all things fantasy. Participants can express their love of fantasy and celebrate in any way they want. I’m mostly doing so by reading fantasy books and comics.

I’m always excited to participated in W&W; but, of course, I was as unprepared for W&W this year as I didn’t intend to be, so instead of starting this on the first of May, this GIVEAWAY will instead run from May 13–31. Anyone can submit an entry, but since it’s for W&W, those participating in the event will have an edge on entries.

This is a cop-out post. I intended to publish a post each day for these challenges but that didn’t work out, so I’ll publish them as a series of book tag posts. Yay me!! 😀 I’ll do as many as I can.

I posted my TBR for Wyrd & Wonder last month so instead I decided to feature a book from my TBR that I’m now reading. Well, I’m picking up from where I left off when I was buddy-reading this with Rachel from Life of a Female Bibliophile. I don’t think it works well for buddy-reading. We were both bored by it, but I want to try it again to see if I just wasn’t in the mood for it back then or if I really don’t like it. I hope to complete it by the end of this week.

Fellowship of the Ring Book Tag

To get things going on here for Wyrd & Wonder (a month-long celebration of all things fantasy), I thought I’d kick it back to the classics and jumpstart this thing with the Fellowship of the Ring Book Tag, which was created by Nandini of Unputdownable Books. (I consider myself tagged by Sara Letourneau.)

My plan was to answer with only fantasy novels (in honor of W&W) but I haven’t yet read that many fantasy novels to be able to do so. 😦

Weekend Reads #80: Giveaway Update

Weekend Reads is a weekly post in which I discuss a variety of topics and mention the books I plan to read on the weekend.

Well, it’s not much of a discussion this weekend. I don’t have a topic. I just wanted to post a blog update.

Yesterday marked the end of my first GIVEAWAY, which I was so excited about that I attempted to post tag posts every day this week in honor of it. Unfortunately, my job made the week so busy and stressful that I couldn’t continue with the post past Wednesday. By the time I got home, the last thing I wanted to do was blog or even look at my computer, so I read instead.

But now it’s the weekend and I’m able to relax. 🙂 Also, as I mentioned in my GIVEAWAY post, the winner will be contacted today. I was excited to choose a winner, which, technically, I didn’t since Rafflecopter randomly chooses the winner. But I was excited anyway because I successfully hosted a GIVEAWAY on here after procrastinating on doing so for so long.

Well, the WINNER has been contacted and I’ve even decided to have a RUNNER-UP, who I’ve also contacted. The WINNER will receive a Book Depository purchase of up to $30USD and the RUNNER-UP will receive a Book Depository purchase of up to $15USD.
