Let’s Rewind: February 2023

And another month has come and gone, this time the short one, and it really just flew by. But here we are, in my favorite month of the year. 😄

Let’s Rewind is my version of a monthly wrap up but instead of talking about only books, I include all types of other stuff, like articles… bookish news… commercials… random-ass links… movies… art… podcasts… cartoons… and whatever else happened to me in the month. You know, the usual stuff that people talk about in monthly wrap ups. So read on to see what I did and read this month. You might stumble upon something that interests you.

My plan in January to visit a museum each month took a nosedive in February. I made it to a total of 0 museums, but that’s OK. I more than made up for it this month (March, ‘cause I’m posting this late).

Let’s Rewind: February 2021

It’s weird how reality works. January felt like it was plodding along and then February felt like it went too fast, as if it ended as soon as it began. I don’t even remember what I did. What happened in that month?

Seriously, I can’t remember what happened in February. It went by so fast and ended like poof! The only thing that stood out was my cousin’s birthday and… that’s it. It was a laid-back month for me; everything was pretty routine, so nothing interesting happened.

Let’s Rewind: February 2020

We’re now in March. For some reason, I keep thinking the year is already halfway done. It may be because my job requires me to plan for some events months ahead, so that makes me think time is going by much faster than it is, which is not always good. Anyway…

Let’s Rewind is my version of a monthly wrap up but instead of talking about only books, I include all types of other stuff, like articles… bookish news… commercials… random-ass links… movies… art… podcasts… cartoons… and whatever else happened to me in the month. So, February happen. January was hectic, but I had a schedule and it was working for me. Then February came along and threw everything into chaos by getting me sick (sore throat and fever). I was down and out for a few days. No job, no exercise. Just rest… although I didn’t really rest. I have so much going on that I took one of those days off to run a few errands, but the illness caught up with me and convinced me to stay my ass in bed — meaning I felt so drained that I gave in and stayed in bed for a few days.

Let’s Rewind: February 2019

So let’s rewind February so I can tell you ALL that happened. Well, nearly all and no juicy details will be included either, so it’ll be a boring post for you if you’re not interested in books and bookish things.

BTW, Let’s Rewind is my version of a monthly wrap up but instead of talking about only books, I include all types of other shit, like articles… bookish news… commercials… random-ass links… movies… art… podcasts… cartoons… and whatever the hell happened to me in the month. What’s on Your Nightstand: February 2018

What’s on Your Nightstand is a monthly meme hosted by 5 Minutes for Books on the last Tuesday of every month that summarizes what you’ve read for the month, what you’re currently reading, and what you plan to read next. For my posts, I also include articles, music, art, TV shows, and whatever else I did in the month.

February was a busy month that seemed longer than its 28 days, but looking back, it’s hard to recall all that I did. Part of the reason is that I spent the month so worried about certain financial goals that I didn’t pay attention to much else. Taking a look at my journal would have helped me to remember, if I’d stuck with my goal to jot down journal entries at the end of every week. I keep forgetting to do that. But the one awesome thing I did and remembered is that I SAW BLACK PANTHER AND IT WAS AWESOME!!! 😀 😀 😀

What’s On Your Nightstand: February 2017

What's On Your NightstandWhat’s on Your Nightstand, is a monthly meme hosted by 5 Minutes for Books on the last Tuesday of every month that summarizes what you’ve read for the month, what you’re currently reading, and what you plan to read next. For my posts, I also include articles, music, art, TV shows, and whatever else I did in the month.

Unlike January, February was invigorating. I got my groove back. February was such a stimulating month that I overdosed on books and read more than I’ve ever read in a month, I think. However the high quantity of materials read was helped along by comics, which usually have few pages, and audio books, which I realize are pretty quick to complete. However, I don’t care much about how long my reading materials are. The most important thing is that they entertain or inform me in some way, and the majority of these books were quite entertaining.
