Mid-Year Book Freak Out Tag: 2015

I came across this book tag on Emily’s blog, Embuhlee liest. It looked fun so I decided to do it too since we’re at the middle of the year, kind of. This tag was created by ReadLikeWildFire (a booktuber) and Ely Jayne (a blogger). Let’s get to it.

1. Best book you’ve read so far in 2015.

You by Caroline Kepnes. I enjoyed this crazy story. It’s a thriller about a guy stalking a girl and is told in the second person. Awesome. Read it. And In Search of Lost Dragons by Élian Black’mor and Carine-M. I love this book. It’s a graphic novel that documents the existence of dragons and its beautiful. You can check out my review to see a few pages.

What if you’re like Mikey? Who just wants to graduate and go to prom and maybe finally work up the courage to ask Henna out before someone goes and blows up the high school. Again.

Because sometimes there are problems bigger than this week’s end of the world, and sometimes you just have to find the extraordinary in your ordinary life.

Even if your best friend is worshiped by mountain lions.

Award-winning writer Patrick Ness’s bold and irreverent novel powerfully reminds us that there are many different types of remarkable.

Weekend Reads #3: I revisit Divergent with Insurgent

Weekend Reads is a Goodreads group created by Nici, a booktuber over at LitPixie. Basically book lovers can record a video or write a blog post about what they plan to read on the weekend, and also answer a fun question.

The question for this weekend is:

Which summer 2015 book releases are you most looking forward to?

That would be The Rest of Us Just Live Here by Patrick Ness, which is expected to be published on August 27.
